What is Tai Chi Gung?

Tai Chi Gung, also known as “a Simple Yoga,” is a moving meditation that stresses the importance of breath, movement, and focus.

The name itself holds deep meaning: “Tai” meaning grand, “Chi” for the vital life force (qi, or prana) flowing through all beings, and “Gung” for the sacred temple of our bodies.

The 3,300-year-old practice of Tai Chi Gung teaches you how to move and breathe so that the life force flows effortlessly between you and Nature.

At its core, Tai Chi Gung is a practice that brings peace and vitality by connecting one to the Life Force in Nature.

Through a series of simple movements along with the balanced breath, students feel this chi in their body, mind and spirit consciously.

There is balance offered through two systems of Yin and Yang.

The Yin one created 3,300 years ago by Boganarthar/Lao Tzu calms the nervous system, focuses on the lower body, lungs and breathing.

The Yang exercises ignite the three fires in the body and stimulate vitality and fertility while focusing on the upper body, and the heart and kidneys.

"In the movement there is stillness,
and in stillness there is motion".
